Jun Fan Gung Fu JKD Seminar & Black Belt Grading – July 2013

Saturday 13th July 2013, saw Laurence Sandum’s Black Belt Martial Arts Academy in Chelmsford hold a Jun Fan Gung Fu Black Belt gradings.

For the two candidates, Andy Hunt and Alex Williams, the grading took the format of a whole day of assessment.

The morning portion consisted of an assessment of their required syllabus material.

After a short lunch break, the day carried on with Guro Ralph Jones giving an excellent Jun Fan Gung Fu / Jeet Kune Do (JKD) seminar; the content of which was a mixture of sensitivity drills and trapping hands.

Carrying on after the seminar, Andy and Alex demonstrated further syllabus material, before receiving their results.

Andy and Alex’s performance on, and preparation leading up to the day was evident, and as such they both passed their 1^st Degree Black Belts.
