Sifu Francis Fong Seminar – December 2011

December 2nd-5th 2011 saw Laurence Sandum’s Black Belt Martial Arts Academy in Chelmsford have the amazing honour of hosting Sifu Francis Fong in the United Kingdom for the first ever time.

Sifu Francis, assisted throughout his visit by Sifu Luigi Cuellar, focused on Wing Chun, Jun Fan Gung Fu and the Filipino Martial Arts (Kali).

Saturday focused on Wing Chun pad work drills in the morning before moving on to trapping hand work in the afternoon.

Sunday began with sensitivity drills applicable to Wing Chun and Jun Fan Gung Fu, before a change of tack in the afternoon to knife work from the Filipino Martial Arts.

Thanks to Sifu Francis and Sifu Luigi for making the journey to the academy to present such an interesting and successful seminar; everyone who attended left having learnt something and feeling about their training.
